Barbara Ingold Obituary
August 14, 1928 - January 15, 2026
Barbara Jones Jackson Ingold, 97, passed away on January 15, 2026. Born August 14, 1928 in New Mexico, she spent much of her childhood in Texas.
A memorial service will be held at South Elm Street Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 20th at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11 a.m.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Grant Ingold, and son, Alexander Grant Ingold. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Ruth Ingold Gray and Cheryl Sue Ingold Forrest-Rogers (Raymond); multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A loving mother and grandmother know as "Grandmommie" and "Mimi", Barbara was a devoted prayer warrior, former 5th grade Sunday School teacher and faithful member of First Baptist Church and South Elm Street Baptist Church. She will be lovingly remembered.
