Barbara Kenyon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brewer & Sons Funeral Home - Clermont Chapel on Dec. 13, 2025.
Barbara Rose Kenyon, 80, of Clermont, Florida, passed away on November 28, 2025.
Born with a warm spirit of giving and a quiet strength, Barbara built a life centered on family, compassion, and unwavering devotion. She married her beloved husband, James C. Kenyon, on February 2, 1967, and they shared 53 years of marriage until his passing on October 13, 2020. Their partnership was the foundation of a home filled with love, stability, and grace.
Barbara is survived by her children, Dana Turner (Josh Turner) and her pride and joy granddaughter, Lily Turner, of Clermont, Florida, and Matthew Kenyon (Hitomi Kenyon) of Honolulu, Hawaii; and by her stepchildren Nancy Roark and Kevin Kenyon. She was deeply proud of the lives they built and the families they nurture.
She is also survived by her sister, Linda Hensley of Monroe, Michigan; her nieces and nephews Hal Hensley, Renee Clark, Paula Coon, Paul Eastes, Cathy Van Noord, and Sheri Kinney; and her grand-nieces Janina Anderson, Sabrina Alexander, and her grand-nephew Tyler Kinney.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Judie Griffin and Joan Patterson; her stepchildren Cyndi Murayama and James E. Kenyon; and her nephew Jerry Patterson, whose memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Barbara will be remembered for her kindness, her quick humor, and the way she connected with others and made them feel welcomed and understood. Her presence was a calming force, and her legacy lives on through the people she loved and the countless quiet acts of generosity that defined her.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral will be held.
