Barbara "Barb" Jean Kersey, 76, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026.
Barb was born in Abilene, Kansas on June 16, 1949, to Melba Opal (Rassette) and Marion Todd.
In her free time, Barb loved camping, reading, and playing pool league with her good friends. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them.
Survivors include two daughters: Misty Affholder, of Salina, Kansas. Allison Mauch, of Bennington, Kansas, and Chan, her bonus daughter; six grandchildren: Bodey Burr, Cooper Affholder, Jake Affholder, Luke Affholder, Coyt Mauch, Kenna Mauch; and nieces, Monica and Amy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Patty Martin, and Madeline Delp.
Barb's wishes were to have an outside gathering of friends and family to celebrate her life from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 13th at Misty's home in Salina, Kansas.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and staff of 4-Med at SRHC for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown.
