Barbara Jo Kingman, 79, of Cassopolis, Michigan, passed away on July 1, 2025, in Niles, Michigan. Born on February 7, 1946, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
March 4, 1966 Barbara married her devoted husband, Jerry Kingman. Together, they built a family that revered her warm spirit and unwavering support. She is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Dennis) Losee and Marcia (Chris Sausman) Kingman, her grandson, Jason (Lorri) Losee, and her treasured great-grandchildren, Addie and Ashton.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Barbara Jean Caldwell.
Professionally, Barbara was known as the friendly face that brightened the day of customers at Lunker's in Edwardsburg, where she worked for many years as a dedicated sales clerk. Her colleagues will remember her for her ever-present smile and the meticulous care she brought to her work.
Outside of her professional life, Barbara indulged in a variety of interests. Renowned for her artistic touch, she created beautiful paper crafts that were expressions of her joy and creativity. An avid lover of the outdoors, Barbara enjoyed fishing and boating on the waters of Diamond Lake, where she would spend countless precious moments with her family. Traverse City held a special place in Barbara's heart, serving as a favored retreat that provided her with much joy and relaxation.
Services for Barbara will be private and held at a later date.
Barbara's absence will be deeply felt-not only by her family but by all those fortunate enough to have been graced by her generous spirit.
