Barbara Kornas

Barbara Kornas, 69, of Lower Macungie Township, passed away on January 20, 2024 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the loving wife of Jerzy Kornas. They were married for 46 years in December. Barbara was a homemaker. Born in Jadowniki, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Prokop and Maria (Migrala) Dzienski. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.
Barbara was a kind, caring and giving person who always put not only the needs of her family but everyone else before her own. She was a strong-willed woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was very passionate about gardening and was known and appreciated for her delicious polish meals. Every task and activity she took on in life turned into gold. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Survivors: Husband, Daughter: Katarzyna Kornas of San Diego, CA, Sons: Jacek Kornas and his wife Angela of Hatfield, PA and Albert Kornas of San Diego, CA, Brother: Stan Daymond of London, United Kingdom, and Sisters: Wanda Gadek and Zofia Skorska both of Poland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, at 11 A.M. in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown. A viewing will be held on Friday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the Church.
