Barbara J. Kurowski

Barbara J. Kurowski (nee Knast) of Magnolia, passed away on October 20, 2025. Age 86.
Beloved mother of Stephen Kurowski, Linda Fujarski (Leonard), and Jennifer Allebach (Dan). Loving grandmother of Jillian Fujarski, Daniel Allebach (Angel-lee), Nicholas Fujarski (Lily), Felicia Lisitski (Henry), and Rebekah Allebach. Great-Grandmother of Landen, Aubrie, Isabella, Callie, Peyton, and Quinn. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Walter C. Kurowski, parents Felix and Mary Knast, and brother Phillip Knast.
Barbara was married to her husband for 52 wonderful years. Together, they shared a joy for ballroom dancing, where they made countless memories. She dedicated 32 years of her life to working as a medical secretary for Dr. Renee Hudecheck, who was like a daughter to her. Barbara was a very active and involved community member, serving on the PTA when her children were growing up, and she enthusiastically served as a classroom mother. She enjoyed her time with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, always having a supply of Girl Scout Cookies. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Gregory's Church, volunteering her time and talents to support her community. Barbara was known for being a talented seamstress, making countless dresses for different occasions. She attended Communicare in Sewell, where she made very close friends. Above all, Barbara loved her family and will be missed dearly.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 9:45am to 10:45am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church 13 E. Evesham Road Runnemede, NJ 08078.
Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery 240 Lower Landing Road Blackwood, NJ 08012
