Barbara Ann Lawrence

Mrs. Barbara Ann Lawrence, 84 of Olive Branch, Mississippi passed away on February 12, 2026.

She was born on August 16, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Henry Howard Ball and Teresa Harper Ball.

In addition to her parents Howard & Teresa Ball, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Cofer, grandparents, William & Katherine Harper; grandparents, James & Lillian Dale Ball and granddaughter Corey Brewer.

Survived by her husband James (Jack) Lawrence; Children, Jon (Kim) Vance, Wendi (Jonathan) Haley, Donna (Pete) Trimarche, Michael Dino (Sheryl) Lawrence, and Diana O'Connor. Grandchildren Jayme & Shayne Haley, Harper & Shelton Vance, Bradley Underhill, Rachel Lawrence, Bethany Murry, Jason Murry, Christy Moorehead, Michael Moorehead, Carly Demos, Josh McCoy, Brittany Wooley and Tracy Weldon, Niece Shelby (Jeff) Stacy, Christina (Jack) Sanders, Rachel (Jason) Whittington, nephew Adam Bentley and great nephew Alex (Lindsay) Bentley; and her eight great-grandchildren.

Barbara graduated from White Station High School and attended Union University. She had a lengthy career in sales and office administration with the Humko Corporation, Witco Corporation, and Hilliard Lyons. Affectionately known as Baba, she was the undeniable center of our many blended families. She cherished and adored her grandchildren as they were her world. She was a lifelong Elvis fan and was quite the expert in SEC football. She loved to eat at Panchos, watch Dancing with The Stars and movies with her Granddaughters, her Soaps and Law and Order. She loved all of her Granddogs dearly and they will miss her many treats.

Service for Barbara will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 10:00am in the Riverside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends for visitation from 9:00am to 10:00am. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
