MEXICO, NY - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara T. Lindovski on February 11, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on March 6, 1942,
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, whose life was a testament to love, faith, and service to others.
Barb was married to her beloved husband, William "Bill" Lindovski, on June 24, 1961, and together they shared over six decades of a loving and supportive marriage. Their bond was one of mutual respect, unwavering commitment, and shared joy in raising a family and building a life together. Barb's faith in God was a cornerstone of her life, and her deep belief in His love guided every aspect of her journey.
Barb's family was the heart of her life. She leaves behind her loving husband, William, their children William "Tate" (Sandy), Joe, Jeanne (Robert), her treasured grandchildren (Matt, Sarah, Nick, Zach, Katie, and Connor) and great grandchild Leo. She also leaves a legacy of faith and love to her extended family and many friends who will remember her warmth, her spirit of service, and her unwavering commitment to her community.
Barb touched the lives of many through her leadership of the Monday Meals volunteer group at United Methodist Church in Mexico. For years, she dedicated her time and energy to helping those in need, preparing and serving meals to bring comfort to the community. Her selfless acts of kindness and generosity were a reflection of her strong faith and her desire to make the world a better place.
Barb's devotion to her faith, family, and service to others will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her. Her kindness, compassion, and infectious faith will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
A celebration of Barb's life will be held from 1 to 5 on February 15 at the Mexico VFW, 5930 Scenic Ave., Mexico, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of CNY, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Believers Chapel North organizations that were close to her heart. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
Barb, Mom, Oma, Aunt Barb, you will be greatly missed. Your love, faith, and service have left an indelible mark on all of us. May you rest in peace, knowing you made this world a better place for all who knew you.
