Barbara Ann Linton, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on February 18, 1940, in Torrington, Wyoming, Barbara was the middle daughter of Neil and Fay Boyd. She grew up in the scenic surroundings of Wyoming and pursued her secondary education in Laramie, Wyoming.
Barbara worked as a secretary for the Highway department and married Wayne Linton on February 1, 1964, and together they welcomed two sons. Her unwavering love and support for her children and grandchildren were evident in everything she did.
In addition to being a devoted mother and grandmother, Barbara enjoyed the great outdoors, and would even join the boys on their hunting outings. A spirited woman, Barbara enjoyed engaging in discussions about politics and current events and was always willing to stand up for what she believed in. She had a close bond with her sisters back in Wyoming and often reminisced about the beauty of Wyoming, the place she always called home in her heart.
She enjoyed cheering on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills and took pride in keeping a well-kept home, she also had a talent for cooking and was an especially good baker.
Barbara is survived by her sons Kyle (Marcia) Linton and Tyler (Amy) Linton; grandchildren Karl and Joshua Linton; sister Gail (Frank) Scott; and nephew Eric (Judy) Fedell and niece Shaleen (David) Vega.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne, sister Janet (Bob) Fedell, and her parents Fay and Neil Boyd.
