Patricia Kay Larson "Pat", passed away at her home on November 5, 2025, at the age of 74.
Born on August 23, 1951, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, Pat was raised in Eau Claire and was the daughter of Wilfred and Marie (Gravitter) Fellenz.
Pat's passion for the arts started at a young age. She graduated from Regis High School in 1969, where she found her love of painting and later pursued her studies in apparel arts at Lacrosse Vocational, earning her degree in 1971. Her career took her in many directions, working at Luther Hospital in the Respiratory Therapy Department, as an audit clerk at Lynn Rose Fashion, St. Croix Storage, and Freedom Corp, where she retired after 23 years.
On June 16, 1973, Pat married her soulmate, Paul Larson, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They celebrated 50 wonderful years together, building a loving home in Hudson, where they cherished raising their two children, Heidi and Robert.
Pat was deeply dedicated to her family, friends, and community, and she demonstrated this commitment through her passion for the arts. For over 15 years, she led the Trinity Lutheran Church clown group and served on the Trinity Lutheran Youth Board, chaperoning numerous youth trips. Additionally, she utilized her talents as a makeup designer for high school plays and performances at the Phipps Center for the Arts. Pat also adorned the walls of the former 4th Street School, Hudson Prairie Elementary, and Houlton Elementary with murals, signing her work with a heart.
Throughout her life, Pat found joy in a variety of hobbies and activities. She embraced her passions for painting, golf, pickleball, and traveling. Above all, her favorite roles were being a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories that will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Pat is survived by her children, Heidi (Christopher) Larson-Schooler and Robert (Elizabeth) Larson; her grandchildren, Harper, Jack, and Sullivan; her brothers, James (Patty) Fellenz, Jerald (Sharon) Fellenz, and twin brother Patrick Fellenz; her sister-in-law, Laurie Fellenz; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her brother, Thomas Fellenz; and her parents, Wilfred and Marie Fellenz.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Trinity Lutheran, 1205 6th Street, Hudson.
If you would like to make a memorial in Pat's honor, the family requests that you donate to the Wisconsin Make A Wish Foundation or the Phipps Center For the Arts in lieu of flowers.
