Anita Marie Westerdahl

Anita Marie Westerdahl, River Falls, WI, age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on her 87th birthday, October 27th. Anita was born in 1938 in Hudson, WI and graduated from Hudson High School in 1956. She continued her education at Humboldt Business Institute.

Anita married her husband Carl in 1973. One of Anita’s greatest joys was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anita’s other passions in life were bowling, flower gardens, camping and traveling the United States and internationally.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her parents, Claud and Lorraine Brown; stepson, Bill Westerdahl; her brothers, Rex, Lee and Will Brown; her sisters, Betty (Rex) Snow, Cathy Schmitz.

 She is survived by her children, Chad (Shannon) Westerdahl, Jerrolyn (Joe) Berg, Dee Dee (Lonnie) Millin, Mike (Julie) Westerdahl and JoAnn (Ron) Pottebaum. Grandchildren, Tanya (John) Morehead, Andrew (Cynthia) Westerdahl, Lauren Longtin, Tyler Westerdahl, Kailey (Casey) Wilcox, Hannah (Kelsey) Westwood, Emily (Frank) Anastasia, Casey (Kevin) Nolde, Corey Pottebaum, Brad Alger, Jennifer Mattson, Danny Bailey, Alyssa Westerdahl, Emily (Jeffery) Kramlinger, Coty Westerdahl, Ethan Westerdahl, Mitchell Lancisero, Liam Redlin, 18 great grandchildren, brother in law, Syl Schmitz and her beloved dog Willie.

The family will coordinate a celebration of Anita’s life at a later date in the spring.
