Barbara Luginbill, 89, passed away September 9, 2025, at the St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, MO following a short illness. She was born on March 3, 1936, in Hutchinson, KS to Floyd J. and Ethel M. (Clifford) Coleman. Barbara had been a beloved resident of the Clover Care Home for assisted living in Shawnee, KS the past two years, prior to that, a resident of Kansas City, KS since 1993.

Barbara graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1954 and attended Hutchinson Community College. On October 20, 1956, she married Cecil Lee Luginbill in Hutchinson, KS who preceded her in death. Barbara worked in banking for several years, but her favorite role later in life was caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for gardening, feeding hummingbirds and her pet dogs and grand dogs. Survivors include daughter Lori Cavlovic (Michael), Kansas City, KS; son Todd Luginbill (Nikki), Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren Tyler Dinsmore (Kayla), Carly Sweetser (Ethan), Austin Luginbill, Ethan Luginbill, Haley Luginbill; step grandchildren Nicholas Cavlovic (Liz) and Michaela Newell (Tyler); great grandchildren Jordy, Noah, Larkyn, Jack, Layton, Layne and Jackson; many nieces and nephews and her beloved pet spaniel, Jackson. Her parents, sister Delores Atkinson and brother Eldon Coleman preceded her in death.

A private memorial service will be planned for October followed by a burial in Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, KS.
