Barbara S. Magdits
Barbara S. Magdits, 80, of Ft. Pierce, FL passed away peacefully with her family October 10, 2024.
Barbara was born on August 13, 1944, to Harold and Marion (Davison) Schenck in Borough of Princeton, New Jersey. She has been a resident of Fort Pierce since 2004 coming from Beachwood, NJ.
She graduated from George and Court University and enjoyed a 16-year long career in education. After retirement, she traveled the country for several years with her husband and friends, and most recently enjoyed vacationing with her daughter and grandson.
Barbara was a long-time member of the Crossings Church, and most recently started attending Lakewood Park United Methodist Church. Barbara was also a member of the Port St. Lucie Crazy Quilters, sharing with them her avid love of quilting.
Barbara will be remembered forever in the hearts of her children, Julie Roessner and Erricka Beattie, her beloved grandchildren, Emily (Aaron) Quinn and Aiden Beattie, and her nephew Richard (Sonia) Schenck, Jr. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Magdits, parents, Harold and Marion Schenck, and brother, Richard Schenck.

Services: A gathering will be held at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 3PM to 4PM with a service to start at 4PM. Refreshments will follow the service.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
