Therese Field Costner (73) of Fayetteville passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Therese, born in Ft. Pierce, Florida on July 19, 1952, is the daughter of James Miller Field and Rosalie Mary Donovan, each of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons Justin (Heather) of Longview, WA; Ryan (Lacey) of Whispering Pines, NC; Grandsons Parker (Toni), Warren; granddaughters Hailey, Lyla, and Claire.
Therese loved to give to others. Whether it was a slightly irreverent joke to get a laugh, an interesting article or quote to inspire, a small gift that made her think of you, or a delicious meal lovingly prepared; She was always willing to give what she could to try and lift others.
Therese enjoyed exploring new places but her favorite place was the beach.
The most central part of Therese’ life was her faith. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel located at 9701 Cliffdale Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304 on Friday, March 13 at 11am.
