Barbara Deluzain Maher

Barbara Deluzain Maher passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the age of 83. A native of New Orleans and resident of Metairie, LA. Barbara was very active member in the Slidell Antique Car Club. Beloved wife of Charles E. Maher, Jr.. Loving mother of Charles E. Maher, III (Gail), Donna M. Maher, Louise M. Maher, Catherine M. Giorlando ( Carlo). Grandmother of Christine Boles (Chris), Garret Frank (Alise), Patrick Giorlando, Samantha Ghersanich (Chad), Jacquelyn Giorlando, Lauren Brown (Antonio), Melanie Crowder, Christopher Maher (Christine). Great-grandmother of Trent Boles, Jadyn Maher, Lilly Maher, Ryker Maher. Daughter of the late Lillian Betchtel Deluzain and Jules C. Deluzain. Sister of the late Benedict Deluzain and Beryl Deluzain. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Mass at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at the S.E. Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
