Barbara Danielle Manning

Barbara Danielle Manning, age 76, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 22, 2026. She was born on December 15, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, to Daniel and Rita Bowen.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Darrell Manning; her sons, Stacy Don Wright and wife Mykle Ann, Jody Bryan Wright and wife Holly, and Travis Manning; along with nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her daughter, Deanna Ruth Wright.

Barbara enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her husband Darrell, with one of her favorite trips being to Egypt. She also loved painting and spent many Tuesdays creating art with friends in Teague. An active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Barbara valued history, service, and community. Above all, she cherished her grandchildren and the time spent with her family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel, with Pastor Paul Pryor officiating.

Barbara will be remembered for her love of family, her creative spirit, and the meaningful memories she shared with those closest to her.
