This I received from Barbara this year on my birthday.
Barbara knew that I would read the bible in the early morning's before the sun came up:
Often we would joked that reading God's Word doesn't make us better than others, but it is something we definitely need.
I will miss you my friend.

MS BARBARA,OUR FAMILY'S FRIEND
As time went by, I came to realized how easily Ms. Barbara was able to talk and listen to me with deep interest, compassion, and understandable interaction. She showed deep caring of the details of my daily activities. I recall the first time I noticed my pictures in her rotating picture frame. It had surprised me that I had mean so much to her, even though I wasn't her real family. That's when I realized that I didn't have to be related to someone to be loved by them; it was love that made it specials.
I become closer to Ms. Barbara sometime after Mr. Sam passed.
Mr. Sam would talk to us when he and their dog Jesse walked by our house.
It was amazing how how much time had passed of me visiting and having meaningful conversations with Ms. Barbara, some brief and some a little longer. I also realized in time that Ms. Barbara had an open door policy - unless the drapes were pulled down.
I know I am blessed to have known Ms. Barbara. The mailpersons, the delivery team, and others all received special attention of take - home goodies on any given day, as did I. Her giving continued even more on the holidays. Christmas, Resurrection day, Valentine's day, Saint Patrick's day, and even on my birthday. She would always meet with me and chat about my upcoming school year.
I am very thankful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for meeting Ms. Barbara through my grandpa's persistence.
I welcomed our visits with her, as she left an everlasting stamp in my heart, spirit, and my being. I have learned a lot from Ms. Barbara, and some lessons hopefully I will retain and embrace in the future as I get older.
Now I have a message for Ms. Barbara I hope will come to her in prayer:
This is not goodbye, I know you are in heaven; So I will say farewell until I see you again!
Ms. Barbara I love you, I thank you - I will miss the gifts, the treats (yummy) that you gave me - and you, as a gentle and kind presence in my life. Forever will I miss your caring conversations and laughter, You will always be in my heart and thoughts as I grow. Thank you for your listening ear, everlasting friendship to me and my Nana & Papa, also the comfort that I have in to have known you.
Our condolences to the immediate , extended family members & friends.
