Barbara Phyllis (Hauser) Marriott, beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 90 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 26, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois.

Barbara is remembered for her strong catholic faith and her love for yard sales, potato chips and anything sweet. She enjoyed making puzzles, reading books and traveling the world with the love of her life, Richard.

She is survived by her children Jessie and Rusty Keppen of Plainfield, Daniel and Darlene Marriott of Westerly, and Richard and Grace Marriott of Northford. Barbara also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Brandi and Spencer Glover, Jason Aubin, Stephanie and Martin Dambreville, Anthony and Alaina Marriott, Teresa and Michael Bobar, and Heather Loiselle, as well as two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Jazmine Dambreville. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and William Hauser, and her sister Marcella Marriott.

Calling hours to honor Richard and Barbara's life will be held at Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home, 595 Norwich Rd, Plainfield, CT, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at All Hallows Church, 126 Prospect St, Moosup, CT, and burial at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, Connecticut.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barbara's memory to St. André Bessette Parish, 10 Railroad Ave, Plainfield, CT.

Barbara's memory will be carried on through the love of family and friends whose lives were brightened by her presence.
