Barbara Ann Martin

Barbara Ann Martin, age 78 of Morgantown, KY, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Born on January 19, 1948, in Warren County, Kentucky, Barbara's life was a testament to the joy of simple pleasures and the enduring strength of family.

Barbara was the daughter of Earl and Ann Kitchens Martin, who preceded her in death, along with her two brothers Eddie and Hoyt Martin. She is survived by her son Steven Compton (Stefen); grandchildren Quentin Brock Compton (Victoria), Quincy Brock Compton (Gracie); great grandchildren Caleb Brock Compton and Emily Brock Compton; one sister, Reda Henderson (Billy) of Morgantown, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with family.

Graveside services will be held at the Belmont Cemetery on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 2:00pm with Bro. T J Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Belmont Cemetery.
