Barbara Martinelli Obituary
Beloved mother of Leonard, Michael (Paula) and Matthew (Kim). Loving grandmother of Tara, Jesse, Alicia and Courtney. Loving great-grandmother of Ryan, Sadie, Emma, August and Keeley. Loving sister of Johnny, Peggy, Mark and Pat. Preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Marie; and her siblings, Gary, Linda, Chris and Steve.
Barbara was proudly one of the first women semi-truck drivers working for Chrysler Automotive. She drove for over 25 years. After retirement, Barbara enjoyed spending time on Harsen's Island watching the freighters from her front window and wildlife. She was an animal lover and liked photography. Barbara was very talented and could pick up any art medium and create beautiful work. She especially enjoyed painting and photography. Most important to Barbara was her family. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. Barbara will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Visitation Friday from 3-8 and funeral service Saturday 10am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Interment Christian Memorial Gardens West. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook @ WujekCalcaterra.com
