Barbara A. McLaughlin, age 84, of Little Falls, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.
Barb was a loving mother, mate, and friend. She is survived by her three children, Charles, Valdean, and William; her soulmate for life, Eugene Schwiler; and many cherished friends. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren, all who will miss her dearly.
Barb was well known for her dedication as caretaker of Moreland Park in Little Falls. She did a great job tending to the park and made it beautiful. She took great pride in this, especially her beautiful flower beds. She often reminisced about the time she spent there and the joy it brought her. Barb also loved the peace and serenity of the Adirondacks.
Barbara will always be remembered by those who loved her.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal services. Her life will be celebrated privately at the convenience of her family.
