Barbara Louine Meyer, 90, of Elkhart, formerly of White Pigeon, Michigan, went to Heaven to be with Jesus on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at Harmony at Elkhart. She was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Portland, Michigan, to Harry and Louine Cooley. On Feb. 14, 1958, she married Nevin W. Meyer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2018.
Barb formerly attended Tri Lakes Community Church in Bristol, Indiana. She loved Jesus and she loved praying for her family. She loved her children, and they were so good to her. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to be with her family. Barb enjoyed swimming, reading and visiting the sick and elderly. Barb was a stay-at-home mom, and she loved it.
Surviving are her children, Rob (Janet) Meyer of Bristol, Indiana, Trisha Sellers of Loveland, Colorado, Terrilynn (Matt) Bunner of White Pigeon, Michigan, and Randall Meyer of Warsaw, Indiana; and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Nevin and siblings Betty Bridgeman, Bob Cooley and Jerry Cooley.
In keeping with Barb's wishes, there will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
