Barbara D. Miller, age 70, a resident of Lynnville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024, at NHC Healthcare Columbia.
A memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
Barbara was born on December 7, 1953, in Virginia to the late Joe Durden and the late Bonnie Marie Durden. Known for her strong work ethic, Barbara was employed with General Motors for approximately 15 years and remained industrious throughout her life. She had a passion for cultivating her own food, fishing, and spending cherished moments with her beloved dog, Pal, and her granddog, Snips. Above all, Barbara treasured the time spent with her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Ron Miller and Charles “Lucky” Miller; her brother, Pete Jenkins; her sister-in-law, Paula Thomas; her brother-in-law, Julius Deats; and her grandchildren, River Miller, Phoenix Miller, and Hailey Miller. She is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Floyd “Tadpole” Miller, and several siblings.
