Mrs. Georgia Jean Davis, age 84, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Georgia, was born on January 9, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to the late Johnny Lehman and the late Vivian Rash Lehman. Georgia was a vibrant and loving person. She married Jimmy Davis and together they celebrated twenty-three years of marriage together. She loved the Lord and was a member of Faith Fellowship Church, and embodied a servant's heart. Her love for serving others led her to joining the Columbia Lions Club and the Fishermen of Faith. A skilled artist, she enjoyed painting, her flower garden, traveling, cooking, her fur babies, attending shows at TPAC, and attending Lions Retreats. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to husband, she is survived by her son, John (Lorraine) Bessermin, daughter, Denise Bessermin, brother, Danny Lehman, grandchildren, Shanon (Michael) Harper, Jerrod Bessermin, Jason (Veronica) Bessermin, and John Ryan (Lauren) Bessermin, and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Martin Carder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Ave, Columbia, TN 38401 or the Wounded Warrior Project, 2222 Rosa L Parks Blvd, Suite 210, Nashville, TN 37228.
