Barbara C. Miller, 75, of Akron, passed away on April 19, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1949, the daughter of the late Harry Borok and Goldie Megenhardt of Norfolk, VA. Barbara was a woman of faith and was a member of East Market Church. She worked many years as a talented photographer taking many memorable photos for Olan Mills. After Olan Mills Barbara then retired after many years of dedicated service from Precision Indoor Comfort. She enjoyed riding on the motorcycle with her husband around town and beyond with their adventurous spirit. In her quiet time, she was a gifted quilt designer making many beautiful quilts for family and friends. Barbara had many achievements, but the greatest was her love of her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Bernie, Steve and Paulette as well as other family members not mentioned here, but also not forgotten.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Kenneth Miller I; daughter Kristina (Gerry) Fey, son Kenny B (Crystal Doyle) Miller as well as stepdaughters Stephanie Miller and Margaret (Chuck) Franzen; grandchildren Amanda (Donovan), Nathan (Laura), Zachary (Emma), Andrew (Jackie), Desiree (Dan), Jordan, Kane, Kaidence, Sylas, Olivia, Iverson, Malia, Royce, William, Paul, C.J., and Beth; great-grandchildren Khaleesi, Kylar, Sophia, Ryker, Aubri, and Liam; and many other relatives and blessed friends.
Visitation will be held April 29th, Tuesday, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, 44305) where a service will be held at 12:00pm with Pastor Jake Nelson officiating.
Interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
