Barbara E. Miller, 90, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at LifeCare Hospice at Pomerene surrounded by her family.
She was born in Holmes County on November 4, 1934 to the late Eli D. and Emma (Troyer) Wengerd and married Eli C. Miller on November 18, 1954. He died June 27, 2020.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by three children, LeRoy (Mattie) Miller of the home, Laura (Wayne) Beachy and Rosanna (Crist) Miller, both of Fredericksburg; 14 grandchildren, Monroe (Ruby), Marion (Ruby), Reuben (Amy), Robert (Ruth), Marvin (Diane), Milan (Sarabeth), Barbara Ann (David), Lena (Alan), Maria (Merlin), Brenda (Gary), Jason (Emily), LeRoy (SF Neva), Caleb (SF Wanda) and Elijah; 38 great grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Ab (Mattie) Wengerd, Clara Yoder, Edna Mast, Verna Weaver and Katie (Andy) Miller; sisters-in-law, Esther Wengerd and Mary Wengerd; and a brother-in-law, Raymond (Nancy) Troyer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Ada Yoder; sisters, Mary, Elva and Anna; and brothers, Roy, Wyman, Andy and Levi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 9:00 am at the Marion L. Miller residence, 8378 State Route 241, Fredericksburg, with Minister Dan A. Troyer officiating. Burial will be in the Schlabach Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 2:00 pm on Monday and anytime on Tuesday at the Marion L. Miller residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
