Barbara Miller Obituary
Barbara Ellen Miller, 80, of Bellmawr, New Jersey, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on January 16, 2026.
Barbara was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1945 to John and Lillie Wagner. After the passing of her father, she was lovingly adopted by John Koch when he married her widowed mother. She later moved to Brooklyn, New York, where she worked at the Dime Savings Bank before marrying the love of her life and relocating far from Brooklyn to South Jersey in 1965.
Anyone who knew Barbara carries a fond memory and an easy smile when they think of her. Her caring, compassionate nature made her perfectly suited for her work in Radiation Oncology and Hematology Oncology at Cooper University Hospital, where she dedicated more than 25 years of service. She touched countless lives through her kindness, patience, and quiet strength.
Family meant everything to Barbara. One of her greatest joys was cheering on her granddaughters at dance recitals and sporting events, she never missed an opportunity to be their biggest supporter. A devoted and active member of her church, Barbara's faith guided her life, and she was deeply loved by her church community. Her presence will be greatly missed.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and fathers. She is survived by her brother, John Koch (Carolyn); her beloved husband of 60 years, Ronald Miller; her daughters, Lori and Cindy; and her cherished granddaughters, Jessica, Amanda, and Sabrina.
Visitation 9am-11am, Service 11am-12pm and luncheon to follow. Livestream the service on the chewsumc.org website or YouTube channel

Lori, I'm very sorry for your loss. My thought and prayers to you and your family. Your Mom always had a smile and a happy thought when we would bump into each other in the hallways at Cooper. It puts a smile on my face now to think about her.
