Barbara Montgomery Obituary
Barbara Daley Montgomery, 74, of Alpharetta, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 8, 2022. Barbara was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma to the late Carl and Pauline Daley. Barbara was the definition of a true family woman. Her life’s mission was her family. Mrs. Montgomery loved to watch her children play soccer, and when her grandchildren came along, she never missed a soccer game for Spenser, or a dance recital for Ainsley. She was very active in the tennis community and enjoyed gardening. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Steve Montgomery, Sr. who passed away in January of 2022.
She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Steve and Stephanie Montgomery; daughter and son in-law, Shelley and Jimmy McCannon; grandchildren, Spenser McCannon and Ainsley McCannon.
A celebration of life for Steve Montgomery, Sr. and Barbara Montgomery will be held from 2pm to 4pm Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Deer Lake Neighborhood Club House, 6155 Deerwoods Trail, Alpharetta, GA 30005. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Team Gleason Foundation by visiting their website at teamgleason.org The mission of Team Gleason Foundation is to improve life for people living with ALS.
