Barbara Ann Moscardini

Barbara Moscardini 1958-2022. On July 2, 2022 Barbara (Bernier) Moscardini entered the final slumber from which none awake. Daughter of Edward and Nellie Bernier, she was known by many names to those who loved her: Barbie in her younger years, Barb, Mom, Auntie, Gammy, Nana B, and Nana.
She left an early career in the tech sector to become a homemaker and mother, and bonus mom to those who needed it in the Belmont Village community.
She used to tell us all so many interesting stories from her life, and rarely told jokes, but the right one would make her laugh and laugh until tears ran down her face. Just because she was laughing, doesn't mean we weren't in trouble.
She also loved playing Cribbage and Trivial Pursuit with Ralph and her girls as well as listening to music and singing, dancing around when no one was watching. Some of her favorite songs included anything by Elvis or Rod Stewart, also songs like Always and Forever, Knock You Down, The Rose, and Desperado. I think we will all miss her warmth and laughter the most.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Moscardini, Children: Christine Hoffman (and son-in-law Thomas Hoffman), Michelle Moscardini, Jennifer Moscardini (and daughter-in-law Jada Demas), Stephanie Moscardini (and almost son-in-law Leland Newton). Grandchildren: Brianna Schablein, Alli Schablein, Oakland Hoffman, and Brynn Hoffman, Great-granddaughter Skylar Harrison. Also siblings Patricia Bernier and Richard Bernier, and countless nieces, nephews, and bonus kids & grandkids from the neighborhood. In passing she joins her parents, her sisters Carol Phillips and Theresa "Tweety" Clark, her son-in-law Dan Schablein, and her nephew Cody Clark. We will see you all when our time comes.
It was Barbara's wish to have neither wake nor funeral, as she did not want people to mourn her but instead keep in their hearts their favorite memories of her. She asked to be laid to rest with her mother Nellie, who she lost too young.
