Barbara Ann Murto

Heaven has gained a much a waited angel. Barbara wanted to be greeted on Easter Sunday by the Lord, but left this world on March 12th surrounded by family. Her love of life, quick wit and generosity will be missed by all who knew her. She spread her joy and expertise of cooking and baking with all who touched her life.
Barbara broke the glass ceiling well before her time when she held careers at both Sherwin Williams and Bank One.
Barbara will join the love of her life, her husband Lauri Murto (2012) of 50 years, her sister Margaret Tillman (2001), brothers Walter Tilman and Roger Tilman and beloved niece Barbara and son Roger Murto.
Barbara is survived by her sister-in-law Gloria Tillman, daughters Mary Jane Senedak and Sandra Murto, grandchildren Laurie, Marti and Paul; great grandchildren Clark, Max and Mallory.
We are grateful for her neighbors and friends, particularly Ann & Jack who were a gift from God and staff at Visiting Angels. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Capital City Hospice whose care and comfort were amazing.
