Barbara Dunn Nipper, 90, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her home. Born on June 14, 1933, she graduated Bradley Central High School in 1951 and worked for many years in the upholstered furniture industry. She was a faithful member of Valley View Baptist Church and loved spending time reading and enjoying her family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Nipper of 47 years and Robert Flowers of 8 years, her parents, Robert & Edna Dunn, her 6 brothers Homer (Lillie), John (Juanita), Robert (Juanita), Jude (Oleta), Clyde (Wanda), Randall (Geraldine), her 2 sisters Geneva (Buster) Clonts, Juanita (Earnest) Harris, brother-in-law, Tom (Ann) Nipper, Ott Nipper, Fred Profitt, sister-in-law Jean (Rod) Clayton, Joyce (Paul) King and Rosemary (Randall) Haney.
She is survived by her 4 children, Bob (Judy) Nipper, Becky (Mark) Frady, Karen (Rodney) Haun and Roger (Lynn) Nipper, step-son Kenneth (Carolyn) Flowers all of Cleveland. Nine grandchildren Candace (Adam) Hammond, Nicole (Steve) Cornett, Matthew (Sarah) Frady, Tim (Becca) Frady, Nathan Haun, Andrew (Chelsea) & Alex Nipper, step-grandchildren Nicole (Cole) Beaty, and Cody (Rachel) Flowers. Fifteen great grandchildren Rebekah (Ben) Morgan, Josiah, Levi & Caleb Hammond, Hailey, Abigail, Braydon & Tyler Cornett, Paige, Zachary & Jillian Frady, Andi & Averi Nipper, Gage & Savannah Pickering, sister-n-law Faye (Earl) Proffitt, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Valley View Baptist Church (4657 Spring Place Rd Cleve. Tn. 37323) store house ministry.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 3rd from 4-7 PM and Thursday January 4th from 12-2 PM with a celebration of life service to follow beginning at 2 PM at Bellefounte Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn.
