Barbara Yvonne Nock

Barbara Yvonne Nock, 62, of Trenton, NJ, departed this life on November 14, 2025. She was born on April 21, 1963 to her parents, the late Clara Mae Nock and the late Frederick Crozer Crowell.
Educated in the Trenton Public School System, Barbara attended Trenton Central High School. She was an avid traveler and loved to visit her children and grandchildren, whom lived out of state – primarily in Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX. She had a bright spirit and energetic presence and enjoyed swimming and walking. Barbara loved to care for people by feeding and housing her community. She also loved to binge watch her favorite television shows. Most notably, Barbara took any and every chance to put a smile on someone's face and make them laugh.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lester Crowell and Estelle Law; maternal grandparents, William Bright Sr. and Carolyn Bright Upshur; father, Frederick Crowell; mother, Clara Mae Nock; sisters, Sharon Nadine Nock and Carolyn Bright; daughter, Helen Barbara Nock; and granddaughter, Jonna Syrena Wadley.
Barbara was survived by her only son, Aaron Ace Nock; daughters, Shakera Roxanne Ellis (Timothy), Jazma Teaira Allen (Roosevelt), Wilhelmina Minney, and Mary Minney; goddaughter, Stekela Nock; grandchildren, Ja'Laiyah Gordon, Koning and Autumn Allen, Kenya Funches, Cordae Nock, Madeline Bissainthe, Nuri Ellis, Shakka Ellis, and Josiah James; brother, Clifford Bright (Vanessa); sisters, Syrena Nock, Karen Nock Abercrombie (Stephen), Lisa Easley, Joyce Nock Carr (Curtis), and Barbera Campbell (Kevin); and a host of other relatives and friends.
