Barbara Orefice Obituary
Barbara was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ. After her marriage, she settled in the Lake Hopatcong section of the township in the house her husband Edward built.
She worked as a secretary in the Morris county school system for 27 years before retiring and then becoming a snow bird around 1989 with her husband while they stayed at their winter home in FL.
she enjoyed extensive travel with her husband in her free time and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Predeceased by her husband Edward in 2020 and son Richard in 2015.
Survived by:
Three Sons: Edward S. of Sparta.
Donald C. and wife Denise of Boonton Twp.
Robert M. and wife Phyllis of Henderson, NV.
Five Grandchildren: Kristine Davis and husband Kevin of Sellersville, PA.
Angela L. Orefice of Philadelphia, PA.
Michael E. of Whitting. NJ
Richard A. of Fairfield, NJ
James M. of NC
Also survived by one great grandson, Finn A. Davis
A private family visitation will be held.
A memorial mass will be held 11AM on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 204 Espanong Rd., Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory to the church would be appreciated.

My deepest condolences to the family- May perpetual light shine upon her.
Have many good memories of Aunt Bobbi- my favorite was her teasing me (at my bridal shower) that my new name sounded like a name for a "lady of the night". Funny lady with an excellent sense of humor.

I´m so very sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Bobbie. I really enjoyed our talks and was always happy to find a voicemail from her. I hope your happy memories hold you through your mourning and I look forward to seeing you at the memorial.
