Barbara Anne Oswald-Crowley

Barbara Anne Oswald-Crowley, 87 of Warwick, passed away peacefully at her home on March 8, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Victoria Goff and the wife of the late Alvale Oswald. She was the last living sibling of 11 children born to the Mowry-Goff family. Barbara was an active youth leader and Sunday school teacher at Chepachet Union Church and East Putnam Baptist impacting the lives of many children and adolescents. Her two greatest attributes were her unwavering faith and unconditional love for all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend. A life-long athlete, you could often find Barbara on the golf course, tennis court, or watching her beloved Patriots. Her other passions included ballroom dancing, days at the beach, discussing politics, and spending time with her precious Bootsie. Barbara was retired as treasurer/secretary of the family construction company, Brentwood Builders. She is survived by her five children, Carolyn Oswald, John Oswald, Daniel Oswald (Debra), Allison Oswald, and Christine Mohan (John), six grandchildren, Joel, Kady, Victoria, Nathaniel, Rebecca, and Bridget, and six great-grandchildren Joel, Olivia, Kinsley, Carolina, Emma, and Kayleigh. Private services and burial at Acote's Hill Cemetery were held for immediate family on March 10, 2023.
