Barbara Ann Pinaire

Barbara Day Thomas-Pinaire, age 81 of Murphy, left this world on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, to join her Savior in Heaven.
She was born on June 28, 1942. Barbara was a bright light among those who surrounded her. She was the rock that so many trusted and loved. Barbara was married to her long-time sweetheart Dale Pinaire in 2024 and, from that marriage, gained a new family which she treated as her own. She was previously married to Roy P. Thomas who passed away in 2007. Barbara had many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. One special niece, Robin Carpenter, had a special place in her heart. She attended Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, and loved her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Fanny Day, and her siblings, Molly McDowell and Jerry Day.
Barbara is survived by her siblings, Gigi Gladys Gegan, Rheta G. Etters, and Colin Day.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church in Mineral Bluff, Georgia with Pastor Jesse Sisson officiating. Burial will be in Moss Cemetery in Marble, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 2pm prior to the funeral service.
