Barbara Ann Primm, 72, of Bloomfield, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Born on July 24, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, Barbara went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by God's everlasting love.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 24, 1953, to the late Henry Primm and Louise Barnett. Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother, Barbara cherished her family deeply and found her greatest joy in spending time with them - cheering them on, sharing her wisdom, and showing them what it means to love unconditionally.
Barbara lived each day as a reflection of her faith, believing that God's love should be shared through kindness, grace, and compassion. Even through life's trials, she held fast to God's promises and placed her hope in Jesus Christ alone. Her quiet strength, unwavering faith, and gentle heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Barbara's family finds comfort in knowing that her faith has now become sight - that she rests in the presence of her Savior, joyfully reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love, faith, and example will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.
She has exchanged her pain for peace and her faith for sight, resting now in the arms of her Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louise Primm; two sisters, Brenda "Kathy" Goff and Mary Lou Coulter and two brothers, Jackie Lee and Danny Primm.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Leigh Stump, and her husband, Randy Stump, along with their son, Leighton Chesser (Allie); and by her son, Michael Primm, and his wife, Lisa Primm, along with their three children, Blayne Primm, Presley Primm, and Easton Primm. She was recently blessed with 2 additional great grandchildren, Boomer and Peyton; and several nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion - one that will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren. Her gentle heart and unwavering belief in God touched countless lives, and her example will guide her family for generations to come.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7
