Barbara Radosa Obituary

Barbara Alice Radosa
Barb peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Stone Crest Assisted Living, surrounded by her children, at the age of 89. Born on June 1, 1936, in Midland, Michigan, to Stanley and Gertrude (Lashuay) McLaughlin. Barb spent her entire life in the Midland area as the eldest of seven siblings. Barb also dedicated many years to serving on the Homer Township Board and contributed her skills to the medical field as an insurance biller.
Family was at the heart of Barb's life. She cherished organizing annual birthday celebrations for each of her children and took great joy in attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events. A devoted Detroit Tigers fan, Barb's enthusiasm for baseball was well known. Her appreciation for nature was evident in the time she spent outdoors on her back deck, enjoying the river and observing wildlife. Barb's love of music was reflected in her talent for playing the piano, a gift she frequently shared with her family and grandchildren.
Barb is survived by her eight children: daughters, Teresa Radosa (Charlie Harvey), Laura Clark, Ann (Glenn) Lutz, Maria (Brett) Brayman; sons, Paul Radosa, Pat (Sue) Radosa, Mark (Shelley) Radosa, and John (Shawna) Radosa; sisters, Linda Ardouin and Kathy McLaughlin; brothers, Lynn (Yolanda) McLaughlin and Mike McLaughlin; sisters-in-law, Carolyn McLaughlin and Jan McLaughlin; 21 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Sue Burgher; her brothers, Neil and Bob McLaughlin; and brother-in-law, Gene Ardouin.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to all current and former caregivers at Stone Crest in Freeland for their compassionate care.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Ware-Smith Woolever Funeral Home in Midland. A private burial will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Homer Township Cemetery. Those who wish to honor Barb's memory may consider making a donation to Midland Senior Services or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
