Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Albritton; mother, Myrtle Alderman; brother, Dewey Albritton; sister, Marjorie Taylor; son, John K. Jones, Jr.; husband, David Rankin and special friend, David Barfield.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Candice Monroe (Rod Reed); grandson, Michael Smith; granddaughter, Ashley Monroe; grandson, Chase Hill; great granddaughter, Jayden Arnold; great grandson, Jagger Arnold; and many more family members.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Visitation will be from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Michael McCloud will be officiating. Interment will be in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, at a later date.
