Rest in peace my dear Barbara Today my heart weeps, and the hearts of all who knew you, because your absence leaves such a great void, but also a legacy of love, friendship, and memories we will never forget. How coincidence that this afternoon I was on my couch thinking of you. And just now I received a text with this beautiful biography of your life. I will always carry you in my heart, and thank you for listening and hugging me when tears came to my eyes when we talked about my family. It's just a see you soon, my dear friend. And I know that together with Jack (go bears), you are both happy, contemplating your wonderful daughters and grandchildren.

I met BB a few years ago at a Halloween party hosted by Annie and Ajay and made an instant connection with her. She and I were both spent childhoods in Honolulu and she had fond memories of living there. I found her to be so easy to talk to and always had a spark in her eye, even when she fell ill. My son and Annie´s oldest son, Arjun are very close friends and go to school together. BB was always at school events and occasionally at sports events like flag football at cal memorial stadium. I didn´t realize what a special place Cal was to her. She will be missed and I´m so glad that I was able to get to know her for the last few years. Her legacy will live on in her beautiful family. I took this photo of BB and Annie at Halloween last year - a precious memory of mom and daughter! Aloha to the entire Reding family - she will be missed.
