Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory - ElizabethtownBarbara Brooks Redlich, 92, formerly of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Paul F. and Dorothy (Goodnough) Brooks. She was the loving wife of the late Donald J. Redlich for 65 years before he passed in 2019.
Barbara graduated from East High School in Auburn, NY in 1952. She served as an administrative assistant for the West Shore School District, retiring in 1983. Barbara enjoyed knitting hats, scarves, and “bed socks” for family, needlepointing chair covers, and she was a voracious reader. She was very involved with her husband and loved hauling their camper across the country. She supported her husband’s many activities within the Masonic fraternal organizations. Above all, she was a fierce protector of her family, and she loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her two children, Donna J. Shultz (Brent) and Eric “Rick” Redlich; two grandchildren, Kera Gault Zimmerman and Travis Gault; and two great-grandchildren, Gwen Daily and Kylie Gault. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Brooks and Paul Brooks, along with her husband and parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11AM at Masonic Village, John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Elizabethtown. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10AM until the time of service. A private burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Tree of Life Fund at https://masonicvillageelizabethtown.org/donate/.
