Barbara L. (Bunny) Reed, a shining light in the lives of her family and friends, passed away on November 12, 2025, in Enola, Pennsylvania, at the age of 78. Born on August 27, 1947, in Trenton, New Jersey, Bunny brought joy and warmth to everyone she encountered throughout her lifetime.
Bunny dedicated her professional years to the State of New Jersey as an administrative assistant, where her attention to detail and supportive nature had a positive impact on those around her. However, it was her title as a mother and grandmother that meant the most to her. Bunny cherished every moment spent with her beloved family. She was especially fond of traveling to Ohio and Alaska, where she would visit her precious grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
Her family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer, and son-in-law, Dr. James Barber, Jr.; her son, William Fenimore, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Fenimore; along with her sister, Michele Cronon. Bunny embraced her role as a grandmother wholeheartedly, leaving behind treasured memories with grandchildren Dr.Taylor DeAnnuntis (Dante), James Barber III, Jonathan Barber, Harper Fenimore, Eden Fenimore, and Elias Fenimore. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces who will forever hold a place in their hearts for their beloved Aunt Bunny.
Bunny's passion for life was evident in all she did. Among her proudest accomplishments was the pure joy she found in spending time with her family and dancing, a pastime that exemplified her vibrant spirit. Her infectious laughter and loving presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Bunny is preceded in death by her father, Carl Lee Reed, and her mother, Shirley Ann Jackman Sanchez, who have surely welcomed her with open arms.
A memorial service to celebrate Bunny's life will take place on November 19, 2025, at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 41 W. Trenton Ave. in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, starting at 11:00 AM. This will be followed by interment at Morrisville Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral chapel for visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
