Barbara Rich Obituary
Barbara E. Rich, 84, of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday June 8, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Gary Rich. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Josephine (Caruso) Comprone.
Barbara is survived by her five children, Kevin M. Rich, Dennis J. Rich, Doreen M. Rich, Dana J. Hanley and Jason T. Rich, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Alfred Comprone and Phyllis Di Sano.
Mrs. Rich was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church Choir from 1979 – 1984.
Visitation will be held Thursday Morning, June 13, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105.
