Barbara Nell Rigney, age 88, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life Thursday, September 18, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Rigney was born in Cardwell, MO to her late parents Ben Onie Mullins and Genevia Odell Long Mullins. She worked as a daycare worker at Main Street church of Christ where she was a member for many years and was a dedicated homemaker. Mrs. Rigney loved to crochet and enjoyed shopping at Hobby Lobby. She was a true Christian woman and loved her Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Wayne Rigney; sister, Ollie Whitson and infant sister, Rosa Nell Mullins; brothers, James A. Mullins and Louis O. Mullins.

Mrs. Rigney is survived by a son, Mark Rigney (Melissa); daughters, Sherri Heringlake (Bill), Terri Rigney, and Ella Livingston (Ron); sister, Linnie Batchelor (Maurice); grandchildren, Will, Kenneth, Andrew, Christian, Grant, Kiera; great grandchildren, Anneli, Micah, Nora, Lydia, Frances, Allie, Lannie, Haven, and one on the way; five great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Main Street church of Christ in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at the church with Kenny Hutchins and Foy Rigney officiating. Burial will follow at Welker Cemetery in Coffee Co.
