Barbara A. Robillard

Barbara Ann (Stevens) Robillard passed away on November 21st, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA after a brief illness. Born February 14th, 1946, she was the daughter of Thomas and Katherine (Parllato) Stevens of Westhampton, NY. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Robillard of San Diego, CA and Jason Robillard and his wife Tara Tufts Robillard of Rowley, MA - and their father Gerald Robillard of Braintree, MA. Barbara was the devoted and loving "Nina" to her two grandchildren Avery Grace and Deacon Jay Robillard. She was also dearly loved by many members of the Robillard, Stevens, and Tufts families, and close friends from her time spent in Westhampton, NY, Melrose, Massachusetts and Siesta Key, Florida.
Barbara graduated from Bentley College in 1968 with a BS in accounting and was among the colleges first class that included women. She was the first female college graduate recruited by Peat Marwick Mitchell for the Boston office where she had a successful career as an auditor. Once her children were grown, she moved to Long Island to care for her aging mother. Since moving to Siesta Key in 2006 she devoted much of her time to overseeing the operations at her beloved home at Tivoli by Sea including serving several terms on the condo associations Board of Directors. She enjoyed walking Siesta Key beach collecting sand dollars and taking in the beauty of the sunset from her lanai.
Barbara enjoyed watching sports, and she was a lifelong, die-hard, New York Yankees fan. In recent years she could be found listening to the broadcast on satellite radio so she could hear the game called by her favorite Yankee announcers. She never missed an episode of General Hospital, loved bowling and playing cards (especially Cribbage and Bridge) with friends and family, and if one of Avery or Deacons games was being livestreamed she was watching and cheering them on! Barbara also loved dogs, and she always enjoyed taking care of the Robillards family pets as her own when she visited.
Barbara will surely be missed by all those she loved and who loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley, MA. A luncheon will follow at 12:00 pm at Bradford Tavern, 87 Haverhill St., Rowley, MA.
