Barbara Ellen Robison

Hagerstown, MD – Barbara Ellen (Tedrick) Robison, 90, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at her residence.
Barbara was born in Charleton, MD to the late Rhoda Belle (Hawbaker) and William Carlton Tedrick on July 14, 1935.
She graduated from Clear Spring High School Class of 1952 and Frostburg State Class of 1956 and received her Master's Advanced Professional Certificate from Shippensburg and Western Maryland.
She taught junior high school at Williamsport, West Frederick, Boonsboro Middle and Northern Middle schools before returning to Williamsport High School where she taught some very fabulous students English until her retirement in 1997.
She loved the Lord, her family, teaching, gardening, and was an avid reader.
She was a former member of Mt. View Baptist Church where she loved working with the youth.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William Robison, Sr., her sisters Louise Tedrick, Katherine Bellows, Ann Weaver, Mary Jane King, and Peggy Dundus, as well as her brothers Carl, Bob, Leon, Buck, and Richard. She was the last of her family.
She is survived by her children Teresa and William, Jr; grandchildren Roberta, Carl, and Michelle; great grandchildren Lindsey, Logan, Lexie, and Angalena.
Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Todd Lady officiating.
