Barbara Rustin Obituary
She was born March 26, 1936, in Anna, Illinois, the daughter of Halleck and Dora Fallenstein Webb. She married Kent Rustin on April 1, 1955 in Atton, Ill. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sacramento, California Sheriff's Department for many years. Barbara lived in Mountain Home since moving from Elk Grove, Calif., in 2000.
She was a member of the Twin Lakes Baptist Church and the Spanish Mustang Rescue Society. She was a dedicated member of her community and enjoyed volunteering at Baxter Health. Barbara loved animals and had a small farm with chickens, ducks, a horse, dogs and cats. She was a talented gardener and was happy to share her knowledge of flowers with others.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Hal Rustin of Marrero, La., and Richard Rustin of Auburn, Calif.; special friend Rick Kaiser of Mountain Home, Ark.; sisters, Sharron Parker of Tempe, Ariz., and Diane Moffet of Chesterfield, Mo.; grandchildren Danielle, Mitch, Shantelle and Anthony; great-grandchildren Ozias, Zoe, Wolf, Julieta, and Everly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be 1 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
