Barbara Devine, 83, of Stoneham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024.
Born on February 24, 1941, Barbara is the beloved wife of the late John T. Devine, Jr. She is the devoted mother of John M. Devine, Robert E. Devine and his wife Rigel and Marc C. Devine and his partner Jean Ramirez. Barbara is the cherished grandmother of John D. Devine, Nicole Devine and her fiancé Jon Cronin, Jessica Roth and her husband Andrew, Melissa Devine, Robert Devine, Jr. and his wife Alyson, Jacob Devine, Brandon Carroll, Karina Moya, and Gabriella Gonzalez. Barbara is the beloved great grandmother of Jayden, Kenna, Collin, Aria, Ivy Mae, Isabella, Avery and Koda. She is the dear sister of the late Thomas Salera and the loving sister-in-law of his wife Kathleen. Barbara is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Barbara will be remembered as the most loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and colleague. Barbara's memory will forever be cherished. Her legacy of unconditional love, family and generosity will live on in the hearts of every person fortunate enough to have known her.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Barbara's Family on Friday, December 27th from 9:30am – 12:00pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) Stoneham, MA. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
A funeral service celebrating Barbara's Eternal Life will be held at 12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham, immediately after the service.
