Barbara C. Saunders

Barbara C. (Mores) Saunders, of Westford, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved member of her community and will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her. Barbara was a devoted Christian and a woman of deep faith. Her life was guided by her love for God and her family, and she found great comfort and joy in her faith throughout her life. She cherished the simple pleasures. Barbara loved playing bingo, had a special fondness for the piano, and found great joy in singing and musicals. In her earlier years, she enjoyed riding on the motorcycle with her husband, writing poetry, baking, camping, working as a bookkeeper, and spending time at Forge Pond-creating memories that remained close to her heart. Barbara will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Ken Saunders; her son Michael Saunders and his wife Karen; her daughter Rebecca Brice and her husband Eric; and her son Mark Saunders and his wife Angie. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She was predeceased by her parents, Harland and Ethel Mores; her brother, Ralph Mores; and her son, Eric Saunders. Services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Cornerstone Congregational Church, located at 32 Graniteville Road, Westford, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Congregational Church in honor of Barbara's love of fellowship and faith.
