Barbara A. Severini

Barbara Severini, age 91, went home to God on June 30th 2024 in Almont Mi. She was lifted up peacefully in her sleep as she had always hoped. She was a lifelong devoted Catholic who dedicated her life to her family, the Church and volunteer work.
Barbara was born October 2nd, 1932, and was beloved wife of the late Fred Severini Jr. They raised two wonderful sons and a daughter, Fredrick (Gloria), Mark (Elizabeth) and Joanne (Michael). She was blessed with six grandchildren. Preceded in death by Joseph and survived by Kyle (Bethany), Michael, Andrew, Todd (Amy) and Meagan (Jared). She was doubly blessed by her great-grandchildren Malachi, Jacob and Peregrine.
Barbara was very active and loved to play golf, ski, sewing and traveling. She especially loved to cook and entertain her family and friends. Always preparing enough to make sure everyone went home with some extra.
Those that knew her were blessed by her warmth, generosity, honesty and sassy spirit. Always ready to pray for anyone who needed it. Barbara always said that God kept her around so long so she could continue to pray for those in need. Now she continues to intercede for us in heaven. She will be missed!
Funeral service will be held on July 8th at St. Cornelius Church (3834 N. Mill Rd, Dryden MI 48428) Instate will be at the church at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
