MaryAnn Krasselt

MaryAnn (Bellas) Krasselt, 83, passed away in Anchorage on Sunday, December 21, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
MaryAnn was born in Seattle, Washington, moving with her family to San Francisco while in high school, before relocating to Anchorage where she resided for the rest of her life.
MaryAnn worked in the airline industry for over 50 years, at Reeve Aleutian Airlines,
as a stewardess, as an airport agent for Western Airlines, and finally for Delta Airlines where she worked until retirement.
Beloved by many, she took a genuine interest in the lives of others, treasuring opportunities to be of help. MaryAnn preferred to remain behind the scenes, remaining anonymous, she never wanted credit for any of her many acts of kindness and generosity.
MaryAnn is survived by her sister, Frances Koulos, Brother, Spiro Bellas, niece Stephanie Hineline, great niece Athena Hineline, nephews George Koulos and Steve Bellas, stepdaughters Karen Noffsinger and Kathleen Krasselt, grandsons Rick DeRose and Kenny DeRose, many cousins and extended family, all who will miss her greatly. MaryAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ken Krasselt.
A funeral service for MaryAnn is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 26th at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 2800 O'Malley Road, Anchorage. Burial will take place in the spring at Fort Richardson.
